I believe Mercury is discontinuing the Flo Torq 4 Hub, and going with the SSR design.
I just got the new Plastic SSR hub. A customer actually told me about it, so I went a got a few.
Mercury originally came out with the SSR style "solid" hub for the 1 1/4 inch fat shaft lower units. They shifted softer then the old style.
Then they did the SSR 15 spline, "solid" hub for the 1 inch prop shafts. (also softer shifting)
Now they have the SSR design 15 spline "plastic" hub for the 1 inch prop shafts should shift soft, I'm going to try it on my motor, but I have an old optimax, probably won't be able to notice a difference as you would on a smaller 4 cylinder 4 stroke.
They don't have it made specifically for a Yamaha yet, but if you had the correct thrust washer, and prop nut, you could make it fit a Yamaha very easily.
(you could do this with the solid or plastic SSR hubs)
Here are some pictures. Plastic on the left part number 8m0150152 , Solid on the right, part number 8M0101604
