Yeah, something about that johnson prop seems to be doing much better then the others. I'd get a new hub and maybe add some cup.
If you recently got one of those powertech props, maybe you can swap to a different style.
The Powertech OSN3 is their copy of the Johnson propeller.

Updated. Thanks Ken. I do unfortunately own all of these. The Johnson one blew the hub at the end of the test. Any thoughts on raising the OB one more hole and sticking with the 19" LNR4? It porpoises easily with that prop. Otherwise, I may just get the Johnson fixed and add a little cup.

If its a 2017 motor, then you have a 2.59 gear ratio.
so your slip numbers are not as bad as they look on there.
Unless you changed the lower unit or something.

Do you own any of those props? Asking cause it seems like could could have a little cup and/or pitch added to a couple of them and probably get the results your shooting for.

Key West 186DC with 2017 Zuke DF 140

    First post.

I am struggling with the prop for a 2004 KW 186DC with a Zuke 140. I either can bounce off the rev limiter with an 18" pitch prop or its a slug with a 19". Not entirely a fair comparison given it is a mix of 3 and 4 blades. The below runs are from today going both directions in calm water with very little wind. Please note the 14-year-old Johnson prop spun its hub on the way back in. The top speeds were with the trim about 80% up. Does anyone have any thoughts? My goal is to be able to cruise at 26-29 MPH at or below 5k RPM so the lean-burn kicks in.
