  • Twin Vee 32 Props

Looking for a starting point for 4 blade props for this boat. Currently it has 3x16x20 on it and only reaches 5600 light and 4900 heavy. Cruises 28 knots at 4300.
Twin Suzuki 300s, and the boat weighs about 11,000 loaded to go fishing.
Thank you in advance for your help

What GPS speed are you getting at 5600 light, and 4900 heavy?

Out of curiosity, what is the reason your looking for 4 blades? are you trying to fix a ventilation issue or some handling issue?

Powertech has the LFS4, big 16 inch diameter 4 blades, normally they have good traction and sternlift.
The Mercury ECO's are another 3 blade, but often have better traction then the stock Suzuki props.

Looking for more grip for trimming the boat without blowing out as quickly as we do with the current setup.
The 4900 heavy is 30 knots and the 5600 light is 35 knots. This is a very light load, the boat is almost never run with this load.

I'd want you to try 16x17 Mercury Enertia ECO's.
        they normally have good traction.
definitely need a lower pitch given those speeds. Motors will be happier, and the boat will be much less sensitive to load.
If your dealer was still working with you at all, it would be worth trying the 16 x 17 Suzuki props as well. (if they will let you try them out)
