  • Prop recommendation single Honda BF 150A

Recently re powered a 1995 19' Grady White Tournament from a 150hp 2 stroke Johnson Ocean Runner to a 2018 4 stroke Honda BF 150A. The Boat weighs about 2600-3000 with engine and full tank of gas. The aluminum prop that came with the engine is a 14 1/2 D x 19 P . Rpms get up to 5800 @ WOT and can get up to 40mph with a clean bottom.
I am ok now with the way it performs but miss the handling when docking I seemed to have had with the old 2 stroke.
I am looking at purchasing a Solas Hr Titan 4 Blade prop 14.25 X 17 Rh Stainless.
I usually travel around 20mph, don't need the speed but would like to have the boat plane out quicker too.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

That Solas 4 blade would probably do well.
What prop did you use to run on your two stroke Johnson?

I wish I knew the answer to that question. I re powered the boat a few weeks after purchasing it. I couldn't put up with the smoke, noise and the large amount of fuel I was using. Thank You for responding.
