  • Engine Hatch Actuator Failure

    Hello,
My first post here so forgive me if I am asking a question thats already been answered.
Has anyone has issues with a engine hatch actuator failing? I am not talking about just not working but with it actually breaking while the hatch is raised. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Never had a catastrophic failure, but I had a Formula that the batteries died and were...under the hatch. Formula did provide access to the pin that connected the actuator to the hatch and also remote battery lugs so it could be jumped. I pulled the pin, held the hatch up with a 2x4, then charged the batteries.
