Not humble bragging - just trying to offer help. I just lost 140#+/- and counting over the past 4 years or so. Ultra high BP, bad T2, fatty liver... been there, done that.

People will say this all the time and its 100% true - diet is 90% of the equation.

I'm forced to go very low carb/keto - not required for everyone- but it works. Carbs/sugars are the culprit for many of our issues. Carbs regardless of the source. Keep them limited, eat whole foods - avoid processed foods - avoid sugar like the plague. I'm not preaching keto - rather whole foods.

OH - and the booze have to go, especially for fatty liver.

It's hard. Very hard at first. Now its just routine for me - but everything everywhere has added sugar's and is laden with excess carbs.

Exercise - 80% cardio in zone II (conversation pace) range. 20% at higher intensity. That zone II exercise fixes many of our problems at a cellular level - and is good for the ticker. My overall mix is 95% cardio 5% strength training.
