  • Quinceanera last night

Not so humble brag, this little monkey came into our lives 14 years and 2 months ago. Last night we celebrated her 15th birthday with a blowout bash for the ages. I'm a very proud papa. Click image for larger version

I had the privilege of attending my first Quince 3 weekends ago, absolutely loved it!

Great friends with her parents, they come from Cuba and Venezuela, there for she is Cuba-swalen!

Anyhow, they are the best Americans I know, they're Chinese are literally perfect, the world would be a better place with Godly people like this family.

Anyway, to see their 5th Daughter celebrate was truly a blessing.

          Substitute children for Chinese.

There are many Chino Latinos in Cuba. Cubans have Arroz Frito/Fried Rice from the Chinese immigrants to Cuba.
We had Cuban/Chinese friends growing up. They spoke Spanish and Chinese.

Big congrats to your family. Very handsome young lady. Many blessings.
I danced many Quinces in my Teens. Latin young ladies celebrate their “Coming out into Society” on their 15th birthday, instead of their “Sweet 16”.
I’m sure it was a great and beautiful event.
Get ready for the wedding, papa.

ID:	182715 Thank you all, I appreciate the kind words and warm wishes.

On a side note, when I asked our younger daughter (13 pictured) if she wanted a party when she turned 15 or sweet 16 she said, "No, but you can buy me a car." She's sharp as a tack.
