Saw a similar thing here many years ago, just a couple of miles offshore, hundreds of Hammerheads (about 5' long) just going crazy over something, no idea what, there was nothing visible that they might be feeding on, the frenzy went on for a few minutes, then they just disappeared, no idea what they were up to.Comment

I read somewhere it was a feeding frenzy of tuna, idk for sure though.
On a side note, I was told that sharks will flee an area if they smell shark blood in the water. I'd love doing an experiment one day.
