Dogs are a representation of their masters. Some breeds require special attention and training and even then…

Bully breeds tend to be owned by ignorant bullies.

        Yep
The dogs were/are bred for aggression.
Like labs for ducks, beagles for rabbits etc

All dogs will bite, in fact I think labs are pretty high on the list but the level of a pit bull attack is much greater.

Some dogs are just bat shit crazy and aggressive no matter who owns them.

Bat shit crazy beagle is one thing, bat shit crazy pit is another thing.

Wonder why there wasn’t a firearm of some sort nearby to dispatch the dogs. Pickaxe seems a bit cumbersome.

It’s not just Pit Bulls. My “little church granddaughter “ was attacked by mini Australian shepherds and German shepherds last Saturday. They were in a fence and she walked in it. Click image for larger version

Fence or no fence. Those dogs wouldnt live much longer.

I hope she isn't scarred from it and is ok with other dogs afterwards.

She’s okay with dogs still. She will have some physical scarring as well as some mental I’m sure. The owner was beating the dogs with a baseball ball to try to stop them. It was all caught on video. Cops are not requiring that he put the dogs down because they were in a fenced in yard and she went in. I’m with you, I would’ve shot them.

So sorry to learn of this Sandy. Hopefully she’ll get through the mental anguish too.
When I was 10 or 11 years old I got attacked by a group of Weimaraner's and it scared me to death of being near big dogs for a couple years.
Luckily most municipalities have leash laws that help a little but unfortunately not everyone abides by them

            That had to be terrifying.
Bless her heart and pray she heals quickly.

            I know, it really does.
            How’s your church granddaughter?

        • #10
She’s doing well. Wounds are healing physically. She doesn’t seem to be shaken by this. She’s tough. Thanks for asking.

That's the power of the internet. Information flows so quickly so we are hit with stories we would normally never hear about. I bet there are hundreds of dog attacks in America daily with the same results.
