Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I pray your homes are full of peace, love, joy, good food and good fellowship today and always. So many things to be thankful for. God bless you all!
Sandy
Same to you and everyone!
Ours starts tomorrow when the kids and co. show up. We’re doing a traditional low country Thanksgiving meal….low country shrimp boil 😀
Happy thanksgiving all. This year we're grateful to just have a roof over our heads. Finally moved what's left into a temporary apartment yesterday after 2 months of living in hotels. Buffet lunch for just the two of us at the yacht club with friends. We'er very much looking forward to it. God provides.
Better prepped as we speak, about 16-17 expected, after a while I'll sneak out and play with my boat, then suddenly reappear and no one will notice I was gone!
As of April 2nd, boatless for the first time in many years.

I will show my ignorance on American history.
Either the Pilgrims (First White settlers in the US) killed them and cooked them for the Indians or Vice/Versa.
I think because it was all they could get.
Someone will come along and educate us.
It was a beautiful day for me. I hope everyone else had the same. Only one political comment was made all day and that came from me stating my dog is a democrat. Good food, good wine, great company. All good.
We stayed home and missed the big family gathering. 4/5 of us have some form of crud, nasty crud… bunch of 80+ year olds at the gathering. Hope we can see them for Christmas.

My dad just called me and told me about the latest dust up in the my family. Evidently, my niece flew in from Texas (goes to Baylor) and was sick with a "cold". She showed up at families house that just brought home triplets, about 2 weeks ago.. The mother recognized/saw that she was sick when she came in and asked her about it. She said it's just a cold. The mom was very uneasy, as she should have been, and asked her to leave due to her infants being in a compromised position. A family, uh, disturbance ensued and people parted ways.
Long story short, she has asthma and started having issues breathing. Went to the ER and she has Covid. Now everyone is all in an uproar.. Now, she didn't know she had Covid, but she is 26 years old, working on her PHD. She is not stupid. She knows infants are susceptible.. Why would she even attempt to visit family sick?
Now she is in isolation and mad.. I am praying that the triplets weren't infected.. My MIL is also sick with a virus. Crud everywhere..

If you come down with anything with respiratory symptoms, or a fever, you have to suspect covid, and behave like you have it until you know that you don't. Your niece needs her head examined.
