New House

Well we sold our house last November and moved in with the in-laws and are now finally building our forever home. It has been my dream and goal for the last 15 or so years, and after a long and painful process of getting plans and permits we're finally moving forward.
I felt like sharing the journey with you guys if you don't mind.

Cannook flag is for my mother in law, she's from newfoundland, there's also the US flag and the Union Jack for me.

Are those pillars (we call them piers) just some kind of form that will be filled with concrete?

No mate, the house will be built on top of those and we'll use underneath for parking. it needs to be up because of potential flood risk.
