The guy has NEVER had a job.. Never. And look at him. Multimillionaire who rails against millionaires and the evil of money. LOL.. His "followers" ignore that he is as dirty as the rest of them.

The government is a cesspool of corruption. They don't call it the "swamp" for nothing.
    Are we angry or jealous?
Who is smarter here? Us or them?
Look at AOC, out of the gate 30something making AT LEAST 175k, ++++.
For the most part, when they do their job, and leave us alone, we don't give a shit.
And, that shit rolls down hill.
Someone somewhere in a small town/city near you is benefiting from being "friends" with a Congressman/Woman, Senator.
So while it doesn't change for the common people, it does change fore the people the common people work for.

I know exactly what you mean.

Are they smarter? No.. Are they more corrupt? Yes..

"Regular" people work their whole life to save and put something aside for that rainy day. They (politicians) do everything they can to make it hard. How? They look at people who are WILLING to work 80 hours a week and say they have "excess" and we should be taxed more heavily. I remember when John McCain was running for president and he was asked what "rich" was. He said it depends. For some, a million a year is rich, but is it? Does it take in to account that this person works 7 days a week, 12-14 hours a day to build that income? To certain politicians, you are fair game.. "How much do you actually need?" Words like selfish get thrown around. Paying their "fair share".

Only someone in Washington can look at Elon Musk and tell him that 11 BILLION in taxes this year isn't a fair share.

Exactly!! They don’t have a conscience
Not to mention John McCain turned his time in Washington into around $200M+………
FYI, from 1980 to current, the legislative salaries were $70k-$175k

To be honest, when you are taking AND giving away TRILLIONS, 11bb is not going to cut it.
And, you notice they only inquire about Musk, Not Zuckershmerg, Gates, Bozos, or that other dude.
