  • New obsession MOUNTAIN BIKES

    I have a new obsession.
Since I really messed up my leg riding motocross I quit riding. However I still want to ride. The next best thing are mountain bikes.
I have bee riding with my former motocross crew and its been a blast although its pretty hard. I am enjoying the new challenge and the tracks around south Florida are pretty legit.
I purchased a used Santa Cruz tallboy full carbon frame dick brakes front and back as well as Fox Forks and rear shock.

      Cool.
Careful those brakes don’t get caught in the spokes. Lol
Can you say, “Fox Forks” fast five times? Careful now.

I've got an old one w/o the shocks that I just started replacing some cables, lights, seats, etc.
Can’t wait to start trying to ride a little……..not like you but riding nonetheless

The cool thing is some of the parks you are riding through the woods and its very peaceful. However some of the tracks have insane features. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I’m sure you’ve ridden Santos. If not, make it a trip

Place is pretty wild and steep in parts. Def a challenge for all levels.

I did it 20 years ago , I had a Stump Jumper with a Rox Shocks system on the front . We had a lot of trail in Michigan , and we would go to Kentucky in the winter . We would ride the backpacking trails , I broke my leg on the Daniel Boone Arch trail , had to walk out three miles with a broken Tibia , good times ! LOL
