  • Kobalt 24 volt impact gun review

Came with a set of metric impact sockets.
    One battery and charger.
I'll put it through its normal paces and report back.

The gun itself feels flimsy...the plastic....normal weight.

    Sockets seem ok.

    I'm off!!!! 👍

    Great day all!!!

I have a ton of Dewalts in my shop and on job sites. They last forever.

I'm trying Ryobi stuff because I no longer use stuff daily, I'm concerned because some have "the smell of death" when I use them....

Similar to what a old school model train smells like

I have their 1/4” impact and 3/8” drill. I like them and wish I had bought the 1/4” impact a long time ago. Had Dewalt previously and their batteries somehow knew when the warranty expired…

Smell of death is that ozone/burnt smell before a power tool takes a shit

Ahh yes when you know what you’re using is about to shit the bed.

I have Milwaukee drill and driver. Was never crazy over the drill’s performance but it could be more a case of lousy bits. I use the driver often and it’s terrific though not strong enough to break lug nuts.

Lance, Lowes had this one on sale at Christmas and you also got a choice of another Kobalt tool for free
                I chose the grinder

Used the impact to help a friend replace all the U bolts on his trailer—worked perfect

                  I wouldn't....less than average...." For me "

I abuse things....not intentionally....but due to the nature of my work and situations at times.

Weekend warrior.... sufficient...if you can upgrade...I would.

The grinder...like my death wheel 3000 is Awesome 👍
