Took the inflateable paddleboard and the canoe out the other day.
I put a trolling motor on the canoe cause it’s easier

    anyways.

I unload everything into the driveway and start cleaning up and putting stuff away.

I bend down to make sure the battery wingnuts are secure. As soon as I turn one (literally, that very instant) there was this huge explosion. I thought I blew the battery up, even though I know I didn’t. But I just stayed bent over for like 3 seconds until I could process things.

the paddleboard blew up. 12” hole on the seam

    lol

    man was it loud

That is not supposed to happen! Bet that was a bit unexpected. Not so "inflatable" any more....

Could have been worse, you could have been on it in the water when it happened.

When you bent down and there was a huge explosion, I thought the story was going in a completely different direction! Thought you were going to mention your lunch at Taco Bell.

Had something strange happened to me the other day, I was watching TV using the remote control and all of a sudden the remote control popped in my hand. I was like what just happened?

I opened up the battery cover and one of the batteries was using out liquid some thing. Never seen that before.

I don’t beleive I’ve ever heard of a battery doing that.

I know they will leak after long periods of disuse

I've never seen a normal AA or AAA do that either.

But I can tell you this... NEVER stick a CR123 battery in your pants pocket with a bunch of change.

Did you take advantage of the paddle board extended warranty you have been offered?
