  • Introduce yourself here.

Here is the place to introduce your self.

Im originally from Md, I moved back here after a career based in Florida/ Bahamas. While in Florida and the Bahamas I was involved in all facets of the marine industry, from crew to captain , management of refits and new builds. I spent 2 years as a Federally certified instructor of USCG Masters from 100-1600 tons, teaching new as well as seasoned professionals. This is my life, its all I know! I'm here to learn and to share what I know and what I have experienced. Now it your turn lets hear a little about you....

My name is Mike Carrigan Sr.
The "Sr" is important because there is a "Jr." who dislikes people telling him to "F - - K Off" thinking he's me.
I ran out of gas in front of a Marina in St. Petersburg in 1964, got a job there washing boats, which began my life in the boating business to my regret.
Maybe if I listened to my mother and got a "real job" instead of this "Silly boat thing" I wouldn't be pushing 70 and still stuck in it.

Well, in any event, if it begins with "Boat" I've done it or tried to.

Happy to be a participant on this new site.

I am Jim, owner of BOE Marine. I already see a bunch of familiar names on here! Hopefully this site will be big enough that it is never boring, but small enough that we can keep it professional and friendly. Please invite your friends to it!

Looking forward to being in this group, I've known about Jim and BOE from a few other forums. Thanks for the invite.
