Price Check - 1994 Redfisher

I've finally got my lifts installed so now my thoughts go to adding that second boat to supplement my Dusky 278FAC. In casual conversation the electrician says he wants to sell his 1994 Hewes 18 Redfisher. 2020 Merc Pro XS 115, 270 hours. New Power Pole, trim tabs and stereo. Single axle aluminum trailer. That is all I know, no pics yet. ASSUMING above average condition and good working order mechanically, what would be a fair price range? I looked in THT For Sale and didn't see any hulls that old. Is the ballpark 20-30K? He mentioned 25K.

I"m not afraid of an older hull if it checks out. I'd buy my old 1996 Grand Slam Skiff back from my buddy, but he isn't quite ready to sell yet and he might not ever sell.
I know its tough to put a number on something sight unseen. Anything bad about those hulls I should look for? I used to fish with a buddy that had a 17 Maverick, anyone know how they compare, that Mav was pretty sweet.

There was a decent KW Stealth on boat trader for $11k.
I had a Hewes 18 Redfisher. Didn't like it and always wanted my old KW Stealth back. Best flats boat I ever fished out of.

My first real boat was a 16.5 Grand Slam Skiff (Silver King knockoff). Then a Pathfinder 2200. Also fished on a Maverick 17 and a Dolphin 18 way back in the day in Chokoloskee. What didn't you like about the Hewes?

The Hewes was very tippy when walking the sides. If the two of us were on the same side of the boat the rub rail would be in the water. It also took much deeper water to get up on plane. I found myself having to use the trolling motor or pole myself out to deeper water.
I was used to my Stealth. That thing was flat and stabile as all get out. It would get on plane in very shallow water and ran faster. Yea the Hewes took rougher water a little better and wouldn't slide out in a tight turn. But it's flats fishing. If it's rough you shouldn't be there anyway.
