  • Stuart boat show?

Wind sucks. So looking for something to do this weekend. I the Stuart show worth a three hour drive?
Just something to do for day, drink, eat, and be merry.

Stuart is a great place to hang out at. Get a room, go to the show and then do dinner somewhere in the water.
The show is a day at most.

I'm not sure where it is this year , but if it's downtown , Stuart has a cool old town district , lots to just walk and take in .

Lunas pizza for lunch , then Shrimpers or Twisted Tuna for dinner , or Sailors Return . I bet there will be a free concert downtown on the water . Make sure you go in Geoffrey Smith art gallery , check out his stuff , a really cool local artist .
Lot's of cool touristy shops .

Thanks guys, been to Suart a few times, so that's why I asked about the boat show there.

On another note, about boat shows, do you think some/lots of vendors are skipping shows now because they are just so overbooked with sales?
Reason I ask, my wife has a small construction business and has skipped the last few home shows due to already having WAY too much business. So have many other vendors. just curious.
          thanks

My observation is for the mainstream brands, the dealers are using customer owned boats to fill the show booths. Not much really for sale, so it's just marketing for them, without revenue. So, naturally they cut back somewhat.

Upon entering at the south end I saw a 2000 Keywest 17 with a early 2000's Yamaha for the asking price of-

                        $27,000!
                        Whoa!!!!
