I'd imagine that they are able to funnel a huge amount of money that eventually lands back to them. No other logical reason.

The ONLY thing he did right was when Sandy hit NJ - I will say, he lifted A LOT of the bullshit State regs for bulkheads (aka seawalls) and some other stuff.

But, as a whole? He didn't do shit.

People "donate" to your effort, you funnel some of that to the republican party, and some to yourself, if they can have you help divide the vote to advance someone else they manipulate things.

This guy was so far up trumps ass because he wanted to be Secretary of State. When trump said no he turned on him like he did to his 2 employees with bridge gate. He caused more police, fire and teacher retirements, putting a much under funded pension fund to almost collapse. He claims he can bring it when debating Trump, so what. If Trump get the nomination, he be up his ass again. He should stick to his beach chair and keep his eyes on the tide. I could go on but what’s the point, he don’t stand a chance.

Although he denies it, Christie has done nothing but talk about Trump during every interview. Never says what he would do for the nation only how he can destroy Trump. He doesn’t want to win, he wants to be the spoiler. Sad. He really should stop embarrassing himself. The networks are using him. Sad.
