How about this for a conspiracy theory......what if Russia/Korea/China is funding/stirring/turning up the heat on this huge US melting pot, hoping citizens will turn on each other, and while they are busy fighting each other "they" just slip in the back door? I have absolutely no idea if there is even a remote chance of a "civil war" that's a pretty big step to take (in my opinion) but, political unrest can have big ramifications on a nation that's for sure.

This is the tactic that will be used against all of us. Vast majority of people have no appetite for losing all they have. They want to work, enjoy what life they have, and ignore the problems. I have seen, heard, and met, many people who say what they will do if XYZ happens.. Well, we shall see.. People are not going to risk what they have for most things. This is why they (gubment) will try to keep the moochers happy.. Keep them fed and drunk.. Then they will put the squeeze on the "regular folks".. Most will fall in line. Why? Afraid to lose it all.. They have kids. A job.. A house.. In short, a life..

Musk can take the others on, one at a time, but, if they get together, Musk can't beat them, and the Gubment.
However, Trump is a scrapper, and if this is a winner take all match, he might just get a bit scrappy.
I think if Trump can be sure his family is financially set for life, he would gamble his own, after that, he has nothing to lose, his life is up.

What difference will it make? Who will buy it? Maybe a black market for it, but when things crash, most people will be broke. Gold/Silver may hold its value, maybe increase. But it won't mean much to the individual person, who has very little of it. And, Say a person has half a million on gold right now.. Even if it increases 10 times in value, you have 5 million.. If inflation soars and basic needs are 100 times what they are now, it just won't matter..

When the dollar crashes, people will be in for a rude awakening. Anyone (normal run of the mill person), who thinks they will "survive" an economic collapse of that magnitude, well, they need to rethink their position.

Obviously, they will usher in a digital currency quickly.. And, oddly enough, they already have the platform ready.. Huh.. Wonder why?? But, the dollar will be done. Will we start over? Will we be able to cash in our worthless dollars for something? I don't know..

If gold and silver, lead or whatever holds value then you can trade with it, here's an Oz of silver for your chicken etc. If they already have the digital thing sitting tight just waiting then it means this plunge of the $ is planned. They just need the excuse to implement the new currency and do so at a devalued rate.

Correct.. However, trading with gold probably wouldn't be that advantageous for most.... Unless, your whole community makes it the "currency" of choice, like the 1800's.. Whoever would be willign to take it, would have to have an outlet to exchange it.. Or, very deep pockets.. Could happen, I guess..
