      Not so fast Skippy.
I went out yesterday, one Baracuda and a Bonito.
The fish were shallow I heard, some folks caught Dolphin in 115'.

        • Looks like lots of good fishing being experienced by most. Hopefully it will continue this fall. Be safe everyone!

              • Well it wasn't a great day. Caught 3 bonita on the inside trolling. Went out to about 750 to find blue water. Trolled a small rip with a little weed in it and garbage. I had a large split tail mullet on a 48 OZ cigar weight to get something deep and wouldn't ya know something hit it and took everything but the hooks. I was pissed and called it a day. From the chatter on the radio it seemed like everybody was slow. Still nice to get out on the boat.

Always nice to get out on the boat!
At least you caught some bait for next trip if you use strips

                  • I'm still hoping to catch something worthy to keep, maybe trolling next Saturday.
Do any of you anglers have a small chest freezer for bait keeping?
No way my Admiral would allow next week's bait to be kept in freezer,.

Any hints for trolling spread with 2 anglers, 3 lines, as in blue white skirt hoo at 300ft, naked hoo at 250, islander jr at 200?

This is off the Treasure coast, SoFla.

I just wantto be out on boat, may as well hopefully catch fish and enjoy precious time on the water.
fuel limit is 6 hours so no long trips.

Self imposed 12 mile limit, definitely not a hardcore angler, it's about the water, fishing is a bonus.
Thanks to any that would reply.
