    • Had a good day this past Saturday. Got invited to head offshore off OC, Maryland on a friends boat. Ended up with six nice mahi, two of which were over 25 pounds.

      • Found them on the cheap today. The wind died right around when I was launching a skiff to get ready for a boss trip. 3 drifts on the blind with no electronics and got 7 nice big snapper on the deep drop.

heading out this morning, then deep dropping, sort of!
Nothing worth eating but was fun, just cool to be out there.
Now, no pictures of sandbar, it was hot out there!
                Hott!!

                • Looks like it’s flat as a lake out there Kev, sure y’all were in open water?
What is considered deep dropping where y’all fish? Depth wise?

Thanks Joey, I meant bottom fishing at various depths under 100 ft, it was flat at first, 1 1/2 after the last picture winds picked up but not real bad.

                    Answer,
                    everyone fishing,
                    no one catching,

that's why they call it fishing!

ID:	62321 Kevin's most awesome 1988 hull in action, yes, I'm still proud of this old hull, does the job!
Faint background is Sailfish Point, check it out on Google maps.
It's pretty cool, yet extremely expensive!
                      God bless all,
                      Kevin

                      • We finally caught that elusive Mahi off of Hatteras on Friday! Had a pretty good fishing day, caught some King Mackerels, Grouper, the one Dolphin, a Barracuda and several Tile fish. Unfortunately, it rained most of the day and we were one of three boats that left Hatteras out of their whole fleet.

Awesome!! And I’ll say it again; the colors on dolphin look so vibrant right after catching.
Sorry about the rain but congrats on a successful trip
