I’m moving away from the heavy electrics and going for cheaper lighter options. Most of the bigger boats I fish on have their own dredge reels. Swordfishing off Florida isn’t really my cup of tea and that’s about the only other application for this reel. Seems silly to have it collecting dust in the Garage.

Somewhat. But for the amount of travel I do with an entire set of fishing gear the LP is just too much. It requires its own wheely pelican box because it weighs so much
