Ok, I have to ask why the reverse 2 footitis? For me, I'd rather the 31 with twins than a 33 with triples, but I'm a little unusual anyway. is there some other factor that makes you prefer a 31. Any why not just get a real boat, like a Whitewater, if you are going to change?

            Every response is correct.
I love this boat, has everything I want, plus more.
            Sometimes I wish I was in a 39'.
Eventually I will end up in a WW 28.
A 31T has everything this boat has, except 2' and a third engine. Slightly smaller, one less engine.
I don't run as far as I thought I would.
            I fish by myself.
I troll on one or two engines.
My 33T is a sellable as it gets right now, low hours, good warranty remaining, electronics are still (barely) up to date. (A year ago I bought a 8215, big BA MFD, today is the 86xx series. go figure).
Anyway, I love the boat, not going to give it away, someone wants it, here it is. If not, I will run it till I can't afford too.

              Hey, speaking of boats.
Ran into an old acquaintance the other day. He has a 34 something, top tier. Had it for awhile, as a matter of fact I worked on it when I first started PY.
Anyway, he want's to sell, I asked how much? 140k, what he has the note for. 10 year old boat and he still owes 140k?
Damn, my boat is 10 years old (She anin't the newest) but, she is paid for free and clear. With new engines and electronics.

Sounds about right for 2007ish era. Could get all the money you wanted with a signature. Heck, people were taking out 2nd mortgages for extravagant vacations.

BTW, the more I ride in "other" boats, "Top Tier", whatever------.
I like my little boat just fine.

I can't imagine having a 3rd engine having twins is a pain to keep up with. That is a nice boat though.

I'm using a Airmar B265LH with CHIRP, flush mounted in the keel.
It works for me, reads past 2200'.
Probably not great if you are a true fisherman that wants to read the read the whiskers on a swordfish's snout, but does the job for me.
The 50hrtz works good deep and the 200 does the shallow stuff.
I find CHIRP to be a marketing ploy.

Yep, I've been going w/ B175h on last two in chirp w/ 7616 since don't fish in deep-deep water.
In 150ft or less, the old 5212's w/ P66 on Blackwood is same to me as above.
More than that, especially in the 4-500ft range the P66 doesn't grab much at all, but chirp does fine.
Suppose if I were a serious tournament guy I'd invest in the heavy duty stuff, but I'm not.

I can understand your reasons for moving down a little. However, your boat is beautiful and someone is going to get a great boat. You've done it right, owning free and clear.

Hope me you find what you're looking for.
