This is a 1996 Scout 141 Sportfish. It is powered by a 2011 Evinrude E-tec (30 horsepower). With this engine, the boat runs 28 mph with fuel, fishing gear, a cooler full of beer, and two adults. The engine has about 200 hours on it currently. I will provide a full printout of the engine hours at the time of sale--I will be using the boat until then so the hours will be changing.
The engine has been serviced with a new water pump, gear lube, and spark plugs. It has electric start, brand new throttle cables, new fuel line and primer bulb, and a new throttle and shift assembly. It starts and runs beautifully. The boat is in great shape. It comes with two removable seats, a bimini top, fuel tank, battery, anchor, dock lines, and even a steering wheel!!! There is tons of storage around this boat despite its size. There is also a pretty big livewell under the console seat. I just replaced the cupholders (3) and the rod holders. The trailer has new bunk brackets and bunks. The springs are about a year old; so are the tires and hubs.
Everything works as it should. I am not interested in any trades. Please do not ask. If you would like to check it out, I'm available most evenings after 6 pm and can arrange a time on weekends. If you want to purchase the boat, you come with your offer and ample cash. I do not provide any wet test until we have agreed upon a price. If you would like a wet test, I get a non-refundable $50 deposit that goes toward the purchase price of the boat. If you buy the boat, the $50 covers a portion of the purchase price.
